TDK-Lambda UK Ltd is a successful and long established design and manufacturing company situated in the pleasant and safe environment of North Devon. Our products are switch mode power supplies in the range of 100W to 3.5kW and are used by equipment manufacturers’ worldwide. We are entering an exciting period of change and expansion with ambitious plans for the manufacturing facility in terms of its organisation and the adoption of high levels of automation. This role will be pivotal in the future strategy for growth and profitability of the organisation.

We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer with prior experience of working in a busy IT Department. The successful applicant will be working as part of a dynamic and friendly team to deliver support to TDK-Lambda UK employees on a variety of issues.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

As part of a team you will be responsible for:

• Supporting Servers, Desktops, Network and Voice equipment
• Using Helpdesk software to support our employees
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software problems
• Installation and upgrades of both hardware and software
• Ensuring software is correctly licensed
• Ensuring the security of company systems

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have previous administration experience of:

• Microsoft Active Directory
• VMware ESX 6.x / 7.x
• Microsoft Windows (Desktop and Server)
• Networking (Switches, VLAN, Wireless etc)
• Backup Software.

Additional IT Skills of benefit (not essential)

• Microsoft Office 365
• Microsoft SQL Server Administration
• IP PBAX telephone systems
• HPE Servers and Switches
• PC and Software Deployment

Hours of work (37.50 hours per week):

• Monday - Thursday: 7.30 am – 4.30 pm.
• Friday: 7.30 am – 12 noon.

Salary will be dependent on the successful candidates previous experience.
