Up and Away Aviation Services provide expert cleaning services throughout the UK, helping keep our commercial clients aircraft and brand reputation spotless.

As the IT Support Technician, you will be based at our head office at Oxford Airport; you will be responsible for supporting users across the business via email, telephone, and desktop support. Support will include business employees which will require excellent communication and attention to detail. This is a varied role, supporting users of all abilities which focuses on troubleshooting, administration, and IT support.


  • Monday to Friday 9am 5:30pm
  • Full time - in office

Key responsibilities for IT Support Technician:


  • First line support services (software and hardware)
  • Business administration (Active Directory, O365, software access and process documentation)
  • Perform starter, leaver, mover (SLM) process.
  • Perform scheduled health checks of user equipment.
  • Supporting client help
  • Maintaining company asset registers
  • Supporting company audits
  • Resolving virus alerts.
  • Manage/administer Sass systems that the business use

Key requirements for IT Support Technician:


  • Must have previous experience working in a 1st - 2nd line support role.
  • Be competent with Windows operating systems, active directory, Azure and Microsoft Office 365 admin centre.
  • Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing PC issues.
  • Be able to work as alone.
  • Be reliable, proactive and able to use initiative.
  • Be methodical, conscientious and able to multi-task, prioritising jobs and workload.
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally to colleagues with a variety of IT abilities at all levels.
  • Calm and assured person who works well under pressure.
  • Ability to listen carefully, ask questions at the right time and provide assurance in a confident and friendly manner.
  • Ability to liaise with third party contacts to ensure the best possible service is delivered.
  • Previous experience working with MS365 (desirable)
  • Previous experience with ticketing system (desirable)
