Due to our operational expansion, we now have an opportunity for an IT Support Technician to join our team.


Previous experience would be advantageous but not necessary, we are looking for someone with the aptitude and attitude above all else.

This role is primarily helpdesk support based with a good blend of face to face support in the UK and remote support with colleagues in other regions of the world.

We pride ourselves on being different than the average IT Team, although the primary responsibilities of this role are similar to first line support we welcome a breadth of interest and actively encourage involvement outside of the typically rigid IT Support roles.

Role Responsibilities - IT Support:

  • Maintaining good relationships with colleagues and managers
  • Triage calls, emails and submitted tickets
  • Escalating 1st line internal IT tickets to 2nd/3rd line IT Support members
  • Ensuring all incident and request SLAs are met
  • Resolving issues on Windows 10 desktops and laptops including physical rebuilds and repairs
  • Add and maintain articles in our knowledge base
  • MS Office application management
  • MS Exchange system management such as mailboxes and groups
  • Supporting branch office equipment remotely
  • Commissioning and decommissioning of desktops and laptops

Essential Role Requirements - IT Support:

  • Enthusiasm and interest for IT and learning IT support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – being able to chat away confidently to your colleagues and other professionals (of varying technical expertise) is a necessity
  • Excellent listening and questioning skills
  • A strong desire to deliver the best IT support
  • Capable of working proactively and carrying out day-to-day role with limited supervision
  • Ability to quickly determine the most efficient resolution or first line workaround/troubleshooting advice to internal customers
  • Working within the ITIL Framework
