Description/Key Task:

  • Being the main contact for employees requesting support
  • Providing technical support
  • Following company guidelines and procedures when dealing with support requests
  • maintaining company’s IT systems, including both hardware and software
  • Setting up new user profiles
  • Processing employee departure
  • Configuring hardware
  • Working within a team to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Keeping notes and staying up to date regarding cybersecurity
  • Providing guidance and advice in regard to using company IT systems
  • Supporting the company and team in broader projects, for example, office moves
  • Review and improve the Proclaim case management system and recommend improvements where necessary
  • Work with various departments, to train and upskill both new starters and existing staff
  • Monitor and report back to the Director of any persistent non-compliance
  • Generate and run weekly and monthly reports and stats
  • Provide manual and practical support where needed
  • Assist with general IT administration and queries, as necessary
  • Dealing with both software and hardware issues, you would be expected to deal with problems in an efficient, organised manner and log details on our support platform as you go.

· You would also be expected to maintain our systems, including daily check-ups and configuration of both hardware and software.

Skills:

  • Previous experience working with the Proclaim Case Management system desirable
  • Ability to train others in the use of computerised systems.
  • Eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
  • An ability to prioritise tasks and deal with urgent tasks as required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable skills in providing IT support and problem-solving
  • Previous experience as an IT Technician, ideally within an office environment
  • Working within Windows OS family environment, including Windows 10 Professional and Windows Server
  • Solving problems with Office 365
  • Printer management and setup
  • Excellent MS Excel skills,
  • Tableau/MS Power BI skills-Desirable.
  • Excellent Data Analysis skills
