The role of the IT Support Engineer is to provide first line technical support to resolve technical issues in a prompt and professional manner.

Main job missions:

  • Respond to end user software and hardware queries via email, phone or face to face. Where necessary escalate issues to the IT Support Engineer (2nd Line).
  • Deal with day-to-day administrative tasks such as password changes, toner replacement and other ad-hoc tasks.
  • Log and monitor tickets via the appropriate tool ensuring notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately.
  • Be a proactive member of the team and build good working relationships

Required qualifications for this role:

  • Good general standard of education, including a minimum of GCSE equivalent in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 (Teams, Office etc)
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019 Administration Backup Administration
  • Knowledge of routers, switches and customer LAN environments
