Hyreus are currently recruiting for a IT Service Manager / Operations Manager / Helpdesk Manager for a client in West Lothian.

The Service Manager is responsible for the management of IT Infrastructure solutions across all departments.

Responsibilities:

Managing the budget and the approval process for all purchases.
Manage and oversee the entire IT service department.
Monitor the performance of the company’s systems to ensure optimal performance levels throughout the business.
Ensure that IT and network security is adequately and regularly maintained
Respond to and manage issues with IT-supported services and ensuring that incidents are resolved

Requirements:

Strong working knowledge of current and emerging technologies, including cloud computing, virtualization, and networking.
Knowledge of the Microsoft infrastructure and solution stacks operating in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid hosting environments.
Knowledge with management and implementation of VMware vCenter/vSphere
