Orbits IT are recruiting for an experienced IT Service Desk Manager to oversee and ensure the good running of our busy IT Service Desk. Based in Barry, South Wales, this position offers excellent development opportunities within a growing IT managed service provider.

Role Overview:
As an IT Service Desk Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of IT support specialists, ensuring the delivery of top-tier technical support and customer service. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the IT Service Desk, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues for our clients.
  • Manage and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Implement and monitor IT service management processes based on ITIL best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align IT services with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) to guarantee timely support.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and IT service management trends.

Salary - £28,000 - £35,000

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
