IT Security Specialist London based (2 days a week in the office) Up to £90,000 p/annum + bonus/package A global intelligence business are searching for an IT Security Specialist that will take the lead on all security matters for the organisation.

You’ll oversee all technical security matters, identify and migrate threats, and continuously harden core IT systems. You’ll also train the the IT team on latest cyber threats and educate the rest of the business.


Responsibilities

  • Incident response, Incident prevention, and Vulnerability Management
  • Prioritise and remediate vulnerabilities discovered in annual penetration tests
  • Analyse IT processes & infrastructure to design and optimise Information Security solutions e.g. DLP, Ransomware, Threat protection, O365, Cloud, Email, SIEM.
  • Architectural design: provide subject matter expertise on technical security requirements for all projects
  • Provide a security escalation path (and coaching) for IT support colleagues
  • Produce security updates and reports
