The Opportunity


As our Project Support Officer, you will support and drive forward the strategic direction of WSCC by supporting major programmes and projects led or directed by IT Technologists, Consultants and Service & Support Managers within the service.

This will involve the following duties:

  • Provide support to senior officers in all project governance and documentation to support specific deliverables.
  • Maintaining and tracking change control of project documents, and will plan and manage a number of small, related projects.
  • Collect, co-ordinate and analyse any management information that is required.
  • Plan and assist in the development and staging of a variety of events, including meetings, strategy and training sessions, seminars and briefings
  • Report to the IT Infrastructure Manager, but as an individual with broad awareness of all key initiatives within the service.
