As part of the team, you will instinctively understand a project’s desired outcomes, taking responsibility for project completion on time, within budget, and against agreed objectives. You will be able to confidently address business needs, manage resources, and any issues to successfully navigate and deliver all aspects of the development life cycle.

Role Requirements
  • Manage assigned projects through the SDLC (software development lifecycle) whilst working alongside key stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Schedule appropriate resource and SDLC milestones to ensure deadlines are achieved, ensuring the escalation and communication of any risks to timelines to the IT PM Team Leader.
  • Deliver scoping, planning, costing, and timings for projects, manage risks, and develop contingency plans where needed and ensure that change control is well planned and maintained. Ensure that quality and objectives are maintained throughout the project.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and provide clear and transparent communication around risks, dependencies, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the department and the wider organisation.
  • Create and manage key project documentation through the project lifecycle and assist with internal reporting procedures.
Qualities and Characteristics
  • Proven experience managing the development of projects using either an Agile or Waterfall methodology.
  • Rigorous organisational and time management skills with keen attention to detail with a good understanding of solution building and problem-solving.

  • Experience in managing and engaging with key stakeholders and colleagues of all levels, both internal and external, and providing clear communication to both.
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality with a strong focus on delivery within targets of timeline, cost, and quality.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project management across commercial development projects and long term product development: from core project management duties, initial insight, documentation, and stakeholder management and through to working alongside the development and testing team to challenge and improve the quality of output.
