Role: IT Programme Manager
Duration:6 months
Location:Oxford
Contract Type:akin to a FTC

Significant experience in an IT programme / project management role demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery of large to medium sized projects that have supported business change and improve services.
Advanced project management training and relevant professional qualification (PRINCE2, Agile) or equivalent. In depth knowledge and understanding of IT Service delivery and technology relevant to the programme area. ITIL Foundation qualification.
Experience of resource planning and management of teams. Demonstrates impact and influence to effectively motivate others to achieve goals and embrace change. Consistently delivers stretching objectives through effective prioritisation and the efficient use of resources.
Experience of procuring and managing effective supplier relationships and contracts. Demonstrates commercial awareness, effective negotiation and communication skills.
Experience of effective financial planning and control of budgets. Makes clear management and financial decisions that take full account of value for money, cost management, efficiency and risk.
Maintains political and strategic awareness, relating IT to the wider context. Ability to actively promote the aims, objectives and direction of IT across the organisation.
Actively consults and supports the flow of communication through the organisation and provides a compelling vision to others.
