Our Network Services team apply deep expertise and innovative solutions to help solve challenges for our customers. The IT Project Manager is responsible for delivering overall project objectives and specific team deliverables, by the planning of project activities and executing assigned tasks/work within the expected quality standards, to ensure the project is a success.

This role will be hybrid and your time will be split between your home and client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of small, medium, and large projects
  • Working on-site for Sword customers as and when required to attend meetings, project kick offs and closure meetings.
  • Assisting technical delivery of projects where appropriate, including validating solutions and technical documentation and preparing work packs, change procedures, project run books etc
  • Project reporting both internal and external
  • Transition and onboarding of customers into our managed services division
  • Planning and managing service changes and service go-lives
  • Conducting regular reviews during project and service transition with customers and key stakeholders / senior management
  • Ensure any required operating procedures are in place during transition and provide governance around processes and operating procedures
  • Plan and manage resources required for service transition and control budgets
  • Ensure any operating processes are robust and communicated to customers and the internal operational team
  • Continual service improvements on the services being provided

Requirements:

  • You’ll be an experienced and suitably qualified Project Manager with exposure to the delivery of a range of technology projects.
  • You’ll work alongside a highly experienced technical delivery team.
  • You’ll support clients and colleagues alike through the delivery of complex and technically challenging transformation programmes with a primary focus on networking solutions and systems integration.
  • You’ll be given the opportunity to work on projects that will allow you to keep your skillset at the forefront of developments in both technology and PM methodology.
