An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established company as an IT Project Manager, in which you will lead on a number of pieces to continually improve the organisation and it’s services.

The first challenge as the new IT Project Manager is a replacement of a large system with multiple pieces of work in the pipeline. You’ll work closely with internal users, stakeholders and project steering boards to understand requirements and feed this into the projects. Reporting back to the business, you’ll update key individuals via reporting in line with the governance requirements, ensuring the appropriate escalation and risk reporting is in place.

As Project Manager you’ll have direct budget management for projects (usually less than £1m) and you’ll be in control of the timeframes and quality expectations worked to. Lastly, you’ll manage external supplier relationships within the confines of the project delivery mechanisms.

To be considered for this Project Manager role you must have previous experience of Project Management and the implementation of major business systems, ideally including the provision of a new system. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to plan from L0 to L2 at milestone delivery level whilst running/facilitating delivery workshops/reviews, not forgetting that you must have managed stakeholders successfully and adapted well to any challenges that came along the way.

This organisation offer a great benefits package including car allowance, 5% employee pension contribution, 25 days plus Bank Holidays and even a discretionary bonus scheme, not forgetting a hybrid working pattern. #4232677
