We are a forward looking division who work closely with our customers to enable their business’s and integrate our services into the existing business operation to improve the business output.

If you are a proactive individual who has experience of end to end project delivery in the IT or defence sectors, and are looking for a permanent position in a project management team we would like to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

As a project manager in Digital Solutions you would be managing the delivery of integrated projects to the agreed budget, timescales and quality standard.

You would need to be able to liaise and work with the stakeholders at all levels providing knowledge and expertise in the specified field in order to deliver business solutions.

The role also requires a strong individual who can hold the team to the delivery schedule and be responsible for timely submission and agreement of client changes and variations, ensuring that opportunities for contract revenue and margin growth are maximised.

The Experience You’ll Bring
  • Relevant experience of the Maritime Defence or IT domain.
  • Significant experience of delivering projects autonomously
  • Managing third party suppliers
  • Managing the Customer Interface
  • Establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of the project, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities that align with the Project management process and documenting these in the PID
  • Providing effective leadership to the project team
Qualifications
  • Experience of managing complex IT projects using techniques including APM, Prince 2 and ITIL.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of Project management methods and leadership skills. Excellent Communication Skills.
  • A working knowledge of IT systems life cycle from requirements analysis through to implementation with a full understanding of TickIT and ISO 20000 quality requirements.
  • Educated to degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of managing complex IT projects using techniques including APM, Prince 2 and ITIL.
  • Prince 2 or APM Desirable
