IT Operations Manager - Head Office (Covent Garden)

We have a vacancy for an IT Operations Manager to join our head office in Covent Garden.

About the role:

The IT Operations Manager will lead technical IT projects for the business, through effective project management and solid collaboration across the IT and wider internal teams and external suppliers.

In addition they will ensure the central IT infrastructure (business applications, networking, security, storage services, disaster recovery, eCommerce, Office 365 and other SaaS/Cloud services) operate effectively. There is also an element of hand-on technical involvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate support of the network and central infrastructure including business applications, data warehouse, wireless networks, firewalls, end user computing, back up and recovery and Microsoft Office 365
• Management of IT technical projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope and to budget
• Managing project stakeholder relationships - balancing business priorities and resources
• Working collaboratively across the IT and wider Caffe Nero teams, suppliers/contractors to deliver on a range of business projects
• Management of external suppliers

About you:

Ideally you’ll have experience in similar role within retail/hospitality, and be ready to take the next step in your career. You’ll be great at leading and coaching to achieve key milestones and collaborate effectively internally and externally. On top of that we’re looking for someone with:

• A background in IT project management in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management concepts
• Experience of network infrastructure/central application support
• Solid understanding of GDPR regulations
• Experience of working alongside application and database development teams (Visual Studio, .NET, Angular, PHP, Powershell, MSSQL, SSIS & REST APIs)
• Experience of reporting platforms and database warehousing techniques
• Experience in supporting eCommerce and web platforms including payment processing
• Management of 3rd party suppliers
