We are working with one of the UK’s largest food production companies, who have sites at multiple locations throughout the UK. They are looking for an IT Operations Analyst to join their site in Brackley, Northants.

The IT Operations team, currently comprises of 5 people who are responsible for ensuring the businesses systems remain healthy, available, reliable, secure and up to date, across the multiple sites which operate 24/7, 365 days a year.

There will be a mixture of proactive monitoring, to ensure alerts are dealt with before they become issues and preventative maintenance, which are run in windows of downtime over the weekends.

You’ll work closely with your colleagues to deal with issues as quickly as possible that could impact service health. These will come from threshold alerts and tickets raised by the other IT teams within the business.

You’ll also help with the automation of health checks, remediation and the creation of runbooks that keep the IT infrastructure optimised and secure.

If you have experience in an IT Service Desk role, this could be a great next step for you, or if you have experience in an IT Operations role, it’d also be great to speak with you.

Also, if you have experience using ITOM products (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Manage Engine), a good knowledge of networking, advanced Active Directory and advanced PowerShell skills (with a focus on automation), will be a great advantage to any application.

For this, you’ll get a salary of up to £40,000 and be on-site at the Brackley site 4 days a week, with one day from home. There is also a requirement for weekend work with this role, where you’ll work 1 weekend in every 3.
