Various IT Officer Positions Needed for Cruise Ships

The onboard Information Technology team manages and supports all shipboard IT systems and operations while also providing maximum system use. The focus is always on the guest experience and maintaining safe operations. This is achieved by keeping informed of the latest technological advancements, and providing service excellence in all aspects of technology.

Person Specification:

We are currently recruiting for the following IT positions:

  • Corporate IT Officer (travels from ship to ship)
  • Senior IT Officer (shipboard)
  • IT Officer (shipboard)
  • Assistant IT Officer (shipboard)

Applicants must have at least 2 years’ full-time work experience in areas of user support with a medium-sized LAN (non-negotiable) and thorough knowledge of computer systems, including but not limited to Linux, MS Office, Windows Client & Server editions (non-negotiable).

An undergraduate degree in computer science, MIS, or related field is strongly preferred, and candidates with additional IT related certification, such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+, etc. will be prioritized.

**Candidates must be able to pass a seafarer medical and be willing to travel onboard a ship for up to 6 consecutive months.
