IT Infrastructure Manager

We are delighted to be assisting a leading company within their sector who look to make a real difference in homelessness, poverty, inequality, and a lack of affordable housing. Within the role required you will play a vital part in how the company plans and prioritises workload in its IT infrastructure and Network Systems.

The Role

Responsible for the enhancement and management of the core IT infrastructure across all sites, and IT related communications systems, such as Telephony/UC/SIP, internal/external networks and Internet connections to ensure all are working efficiently, securely and in line with best practice. This includes the successful delivery of upgrades and new IT business-critical Infrastructure projects to the organisation. It is critical that the post holder acts as a key enabler for IT infrastructure provision to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and maintain the high quality of infrastructure support required to enhance the companies forward thinking projects.
  • Provide support and guidance in the network, servers and communications set within the expected company standard
  • Strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting of the IT teams fundamentals
  • Accountability for the companies IT Infrastructure across its platform
  • Procurement negotiation
  • Tech savvy and up to date with the latest technical infrastructure available

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of VMware, Cisco networking and Telephony.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Agile Environment Experience
  • People management skills
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
