Role: IT Helpdesk Technician



Location: Central Lancaster



Salary: £22,000We are looking for an organised and experienced IT Helpdesk professional to join a tech company, based in Central Lancaster.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and resolving problems related to the company’s products and services.The role involves responding to customer queries, diagnosing technical issues, troubleshooting, and providing solutions. You will be required to document and track customer inquiries and provide customer service.The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be customer service-oriented and have a good technical background.Key Responsibilities:Be the first point of contact for their customersDevelop in depth understanding of the platform to enable providing support and adviceRespond to customer inquiries via phone, email and other channelsDiagnose technical issues and provide solutionsRespond to tickets in a timely manner and work to SLAs with high qualityProvide customer service and liaise with other departmentsSkills and Requirements:Previous experience in a customer service and/or IT Helpdesk roleKnowledge of computer hardware and softwareExperience with Windows and/or Mac operating systemsKnowledge of ticketing systems (Jira preferred)Excellent customer service and communication skillsExperience working in the SaaS industryKnowledge working with coding languages and/or basic knowledge of SQLStrong written and verbal communication skillsIf you are interested in this role and have the required skill set, please apply for immediate consideration and interview.Keywords: IT Helpdesk, Technical Support, Customer Service, Customer Support, Troubleshooting, Problem SolvingIn Technology Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
