We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced IT Engineer to join one of our growing clients, a leading Microsoft Service Provider based near Basingstoke, Hampshire

As an IT Engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn and work with cutting-edge technologies to provide the best solutions for our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their client’s IT systems. Your primary responsibility will be to resolve issues and requests promptly and effectively, in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring a great customer experience is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing exceptional customer support and care.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing support issues via phone, email, or onsite visits, effectively managing support tickets.
  • Ensuring end-user devices are secure and compliant, safeguarding our customers from Cyber Security Threats.
  • Managing backups and monitoring software to maintain the integrity of our client’s data.
  • Onboarding new customers, ensuring a seamless transition to our services.
  • Delivering cloud solutions for Microsoft 365’s Modern Workplace, including email migration, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Defender, and Azure Hosting.
  • Involvement in infrastructure upgrade projects to keep our services at the forefront of technology.
  • Occasionally performing Laptop/Desktop builds.
  • Creating and managing effective documentation.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a desktop support role.
  • Experience supporting and administrating Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint and Windows Server.
  • Basic Networking Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN& Firewalls.
  • Proficiency in Windows 8-11.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of MAC iOS.
  • CompTIA or Microsoft accreditations are desirable.
