What does the role involve?

As a member of the Service Control department, you will provide support and administer the IT assets, licence and configuration activities for Group IT. Ensuring this forms an active part of project management planning and that service risk is managed and mitigated.

Some of your key duties will include:

You will be responsible ensuring IT assets are recorded accurately within the CMDB processes and activities relating to the maintenance of CI, asset and licence information.

  • Responsible for the updating and capturing of IT software licences – desktop and infrastructure
  • Record and monitor the expected costs and demand for licence consumption including the Azure and AWS environments
  • The production of MI Reporting for IT assets and licences recorded in CMDB to periodically audit and baseline products and services.
  • Maintain and promote the IT Asset Management processes.

You will be a proactive individual who thinks outside of the box, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.

  • You will communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work with and collaborate with colleagues in an approachable manner
  • Strong administration skills and a knowledge of processes
