Join a community that values and respects every individual, committed to delivering world-class education for all.In this role, youll work towards your level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.A Typical Day In The JobProviding technical support to pupils, teachers, and office/admin staff using diverse methods (face-to-face, remote, and ticketing system).Ensuring classrooms are set up correctly for lessons, including device and connectivity testing.Handling the setup, maintenance, and support of user devices, Audio Visual equipment, projectors, and other devices.Creating new user accounts using Active Directory, while also maintaining top-notch security policies and safety standards throughout the premises.Deploying new software across Laptop banksTCP/IP configurationFull training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.Salary, Hours & Benefits£14,000 per annumA conducive work schedule from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility, working 8 am to 4 pm.21 days holiday plus bank holidaysFree parkingDesired Qualities, Skills And KnowledgeExcellent communication skills, enabling you to provide support using various methods to a diverse range of users.Keen attention to detail, ensuring precision in your IT support role.A willingness to learn and grow, adapting to new challenges with enthusiasm.A technically-minded and gifted approach to IT problem-solving.Familiarity with components, which will aid in your IT support journey.An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.A Grade 4/C at GCSE in English and Maths is required for this roleYour Training With BalticThis apprenticeship provides the skills, qualifications and experience you need to immerse yourself in an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.Next StepsIf this sounds like the role for you, send us an application!
