We are currently recruiting for an IT Apprentice working in our busy IT department from our Head Office in Penrith. The successful candidate will support the existing IT team while learning valuable work-place skills and gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a motivation to work in IT to gain a wide range of skills and experiences.
The successful candidate will primarily be required to provide an efficient and professional support service for Inspira to facilitate the effective operation of the Charity’s services and projects through its ICT systems.
Some of the main duties may include:
- Administrating the network domains
- Setting up computers
- Cabling
- Implementing solutions under guidance
Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
- Knowledge and/or an interest in Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- An understanding good customer service
- Knowledge and/or an interest in Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Personal qualities
- A willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
Desired qualifications
- Minimum GCSE grade C or 4/5 in maths, English and a Computing related subject (Expected or Achieved)
