Job Title: IT Analyst/Programmer

PayeDoc Payroll Services Ltd are a successful payroll agency based on the Wirral. We are looking for a Developer to assist the IT Manager with our own in-house software based in Microsoft Access. This is an exciting new role as we are expanding our development team and are looking for someone who is able to support us in ensuring our system is up to date and provides the best user experience for our colleagues and clients. The candidate should have proven experience with Microsoft Access/VBA.

Job Overview

  • Microsoft Access VBA and SQL developer required to support existing large and complex Access databases providing payroll and pensions data for over 450 clients.

Essential Skills

  • Basic VBA programming (preferably in Microsoft Access).
  • Basic SQL (preferably using Jet SQL).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of supporting in-house users and customers.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of supporting complex Access databases.
  • Use of C#.
  • Experience of supporting in-house users and customers.
  • Ability to produce accurate and concise documentation, both within the code and for users
  • Version Control
