IT Analyst II – Warehouse Management Systems

Job Summary

The Analyst II position is responsible for proactively leading the effort to understand the AGCO business requirements and identify how best to translate those into Business Systems solutions. Key responsibilities include providing support for project work, ongoing day-to-day operational needs (maintenance, fixes, enhancements, releases and small change requests), performing data analysis. The AGCO team operates under and SAFE AGILE environment.

Job Function and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key business resources on requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, user acceptance, implementation, and documentation.

• Understand and translate business concepts to executable functional designs; ensure functional designs are executed as a viable solution to the business concept; ensuring module solution aligns and is compatible with overall architecture.

• Ability to be a stand-alone AGILE development partner undertaking not just analysis but key developments and testing functions

• Plan production software deployment activities and provide input into the change management process.

• Assist with estimations of new developments and enhancement requests (costs, benefits, resources).

• Monitor performance and provide responsive action to issues maintaining high-level internal customer satisfaction to required service level performance measures, through the successful resolution of customer requests/issues/change requests.

• Ensure individual and team compliance with all AGCO policies and procedures including Sarbanes Oxley, IT and Security. Follow and adhere to established governance processes and standards.

• Plan, prepare and execute system, product, acceptance and operational readiness testing. Create test approaches, conditions, cycles, scripts, environments.

Functional Knowledge

• Formal IT methodology experience is required. Including AGILE, Prince2, PMP

• Practical experience of full life-cycle implementation and operational support of systems

• Detailed knowledge of the following is mandatory:

o Manhattan WMS module

• Detailed knowledge of the following is preferable:

o iSeries AS400 ILE, ERP, CRM, WMS, EDI methods Net, Java, Oracle/Linux

Business Expertise

• Logistics or Supply Chain experience is key.

• Agricultural experience is a plus.

Essential Skills

• Strong written and spoken communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management.

• Successfully influences diverse groups and teams in a complex, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment to deliver value-added solutions.

• Effective working relationship with the business to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, agreed and accepted.

• Adaptable to new technologies/practices and acts as change agent within teams

• Demonstrable ability to work under tight deadlines with multi tasks with proven self-starter experience

• Demonstrable ability to manage time and workload within the timeline of the business requirements and team members
