Meon Health Practie are looking to recruit a Business Support Administrator - IT

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT administrator to join The Highlands Practice, Whiteley Surgery & Jubilee Surgery assisting the organisation in all aspects of IT.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive IT support and assistance to staff at all levels of the Organisation. Experience working with Emis and MJog would be an advantage.

Responsible to: IT Team Lead

Reports to: Patient Service Manager

Main duties of the job

· Analyse clinical data and present figures to support decision making

· Produce system expertise to resolve problems and enhance processes

· Write and run reports within the IT system as requested

· Manage starters/leavers login/smartcards

· Provide IT training for all new staff on current IT systems

· Manage and develop texting service for patients

· To build and run MJog Campaigns as requested by The Organisation

· To trouble shoot and solve any IT/Network/Printer problems

· To assist in delivering exceptional service

· To assist in creating self-help documents for staff to resolve basic IT related issues

· Assist in QI project work as requested

· To keep up to date with

· To maintain the computer systems in an accurate and secure manner

· To assist with the role of essential systems, maintenance and migration for existing and new projects under the guidance of the Patient Service Manager

· To undertake any other duties commensurate with the scope of your role and within your skill set as requested

STATUTORY AND MANDATORY TRAINING

The Organisation will assess the requirements for Statutory and Mandatory training for all new staff prior to commencement and aims to ensure that all Statutory and Mandatory training requirements are completed during the first 2 weeks of commencement.

The Organisation operates a Smoke-free policy. This means that smoking is not permitted anywhere within any of the premises. In the interests of promoting responsible healthcare all staff are to refrain from smoking when off-site in uniform or wearing an identifying badge in any public place.

CONFIDENTIALITY

In the course of your employment you will have access to confidential information of a personal and/or clinical nature, including information relating to the Organisation, its clients, patients, employees and other parties.

You must not use such information for your own benefit nor disclose it to other persons without the consent of the Organisation and the party concerned unless required to do so by law. This applies both during and after the termination of your employment. Any breach of confidentiality during employment may be regarded as serious misconduct and could lead to summary dismissal

INFORMATION SECURITY

Under the provisions of the Data Protection act, it is the responsibility of each member of staff to ensure that all personal data relating to patients and members of staff, whether held in manual or electronic format, is kept secure at all times. Computer passwords must not be shared either between systems or users. The Organisation may monitor e-mail messages, any files stored on the networks or on equipment and usage of the Internet, NHS.net and computer systems, irrespective of whether these relate to trust or personal use.

Access and usage of the Organisations computers must be in accordance with The Organisations policy.
