POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Managing Director & E-commerce Managerthe Inventory & Supply Chain Controller is responsible for successfully managing the inventory and stock positions (forecast, consumption, safety stock, etc ) of all SKUs that include marketing materials including logistics within the business.

MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory and Procurement

· Take ownership for leading the forecasting process (100 + SKUs) to determine forecast of product required segregating product into ABC as required.

· Monitoring and amendment of forecasts to meet both sales and supply chain requirements.

· Monitoring and improving inventory and inventory turnover including stock cover levels & safety stock

· Participate in the planning and implementation of new product launches including addition to ERP.

· Undertake procurement of all products in a timely manner to meet forecast demands using ERP system.

· Take accountability for product delivery schedules.

· Arranging amazon FBA shipments for the UK, USA and Germany

· Liaising with suppliers & 3PL providers ensuring that goods and packaging are available and delivered on time.

Report on the following as a minimum:

  • Forecast Accuracy supported with historic norms together with
  • Inventory levels and stock cover
  • Back-order status
  • Procurement cost
  • Gratis use
  • Aging stock
  • Maintain the month end process eliminating errors.
  • Be the ERP super user, maintaining a clean system without redundant entries, apt development and permissions.

Logistics

· Logistics leadership - import, export and domestic.

· Generation and management of paperwork to support international trade.

· Ensuring compliance within export/import regulations within supply chain

· Preparing shipments for export in line with regulatory requirements. Resolving any customs or clearance challenges.

· Generating commercial and compliance paperwork for all export shipments.

· Maintaining proof of export documentation for HMRC purposes.

· Liaising with freight providers to obtain quotations, book transport, and obtain updates on shipments.

· Liaison with internal stakeholders on the progress of shipments.

· Maintaining records within our ERP system.

· Report on the following as a minimum:

· Delivery to Customer logistic performance in relation to SLA

· Fiscal logistic performance
