Here at GXO Wellingborough, we are looking for an Inventory Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the operation’s day-to-day running, prioritising daily flows throughout the contract within an Inventory Operative capacity.


You will be working 40 hours per week with an any 5 from 7 shift pattern rotating fortnightly from 06:15 -14:15 (AM) to 14.15 - 22.15 (PM)

What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Perform cycle counts against a schedule using DLX Warehouse Management System
  • Maintain stock accuracy and integrity in line with contractual requirements, minimising stock, and investigation and resolution of errors
  • Establish and maintain high accuracy and completeness of data
  • Undertake and participate in key changes to improve performance
  • Complete the daily MHE safety checks (where applicable) and ensure that MHE is being used in accordance with training and Health & Safety legislation


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • Good understanding of PC - Excel, Word, and e-mail
  • Good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • MHE license (where applicable) or able to be trained
  • Good understanding of warehouse processes
