Supreme Recruitment are looking for a Inventory Associate to join one of our clients based in Lichfield on a permanenet basis. Main responsibilities/Key goals:-Ensure accurate product inventory for clients/customers
  • Help support daily cycle counts and the block audit programme
  • Communicate with Inventory Manager about current stock and potential issues with orders
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Target setting with subsequent measurements through to conclusion
  • Research any stock variance’s that arise
  • Consolidate and slot inventory to maximise picking efficiencies and space utilisation
  • Have a customer first mindset - processes to prevent can’t find and issues on customer end Requirements:
  • 2+ years’ experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures
  • 1+ years’ supervisory experience
  • Good attention to details
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Has previous experience of some form of layout design or solutions process - potentially from start up
  • Able to work with IT systems and proven ability in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) at an advanced level
  • Good problem solving ability and attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, without compromising quality standards and processes
  • A good team player
  • Flexible working approach
  • Able to multi-task and work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of distribution workplaces
  • Inventory training an asset
  • MHE - Counter Balance , high level order picker and reach truck licenses would be beneficial. This position will be working Monday - Friday on a day shift with no weekends
