We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Team Leader to join our friendly team at Tunstead House in Buxton.

Role Responsibility

Reporting into our Internal Sales Manager the successful candidate for the role of Internal Sales Team Leader, will support and implement the sales plan and achieve targets and KPI’s in line with the Mortar Product Line Strategy through the effective coaching and development of the sales team.

Be responsible for the tracking and reporting of sales performance, the monitoring of adherence to internal standards and achievement of targets.

You will also take responsibility for:

  • The Internal Sales Department
  • Delivering on set KPI’s for the department
  • Maintaining accurate order processing
  • Assisting towards the delivery of budgets and cash sale targets
  • Agreeing Personal development plans via smart goals to progress the individual and improve team performance
  • Coordinating customer orders and quotations in line with our SLA`s
  • Meeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate lead times/SLA`s

The Ideal Candidate

As our ideal Sales Team Leader you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar customer facing and commercial environment. You will also possess:

  • Relevant Product Knowledge (desirable)
  • Industry and Market Knowledge
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be numerate
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to drive performance and coaching to deliver set KPI’s and excellent customer service
  • Be a good team player
  • Have experience of delivering unparalleled levels of customer service
  • Have experience working in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to negotiate and think outside of the box to solve problems
  • Be able to produce and interpret data of high level of reports (use of excel and PowerPoint)
  • Be able to manage own workload effectively and efficiently
