We are looking for a very special person to come and join our Recruitment Team.


We get involved in a wide range of different roles from really niche real estate advisory positions to technical and creative roles in technology and marketing. We get involved with building new teams and developing existing departments. The business relies on us for our advice and expertise on all things people and our candidates rely on us to give them an authentic and honest view of what it is like to build a career at Knight Frank and to treat them fairly and with dignity through our application process.


We work dynamically basing ourselves in a location that best suits the business and ourselves on a day by day basis. The Recruitment Team work from home, from our offices nationwide and from our HQ in Baker Street, central London.

Job Summary


The role of a Recruitment Adviser is to lead the talent acquisition activities for a number of key departments within Knight Frank across the UK. The successful candidate would become the subject matter expert on talent attraction, engagement and onboarding while supporting on strategic project management and performing an ambassadorial role internally and externally. The responsibilities will include nurturing internal stakeholder relationships and leading a fair and equal process when we recruit, assess and onboard people into our teams.

Responsibilities


Hiring Manager Experience

  • Lead on the recruitment of vacancies across a small number of departments and business units.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their requirements and to advise and deliver on their active vacancies.
  • Nurture long term relationships with our teams so you can anticipate their requirements and offer long term strategic advice alongside our HR Business Partners.
  • Provide talent insights to hiring managers on specific sectors and skillsets as well as broader UK/Global hiring trends.

Candidate Experience

  • Take responsibility for the experience of all candidates who apply for positions at Knight Frank.
  • Ensure our opportunities are presented to a wide range of talent and they resonate with a diverse audience who, through employer branding, identify with our purpose & values.
  • Screen candidates effectively and inclusively in line with our global values.
  • Ensure that Candidates are interviewed by a balanced and well prepared panel, receiving a supportive, informative and efficient experience along the way.
  • Manage the offer process to ensure that the best candidates receive a timely offer, moving seamlessly into an onboarding process that is informative and personable.
  • Manage the rejection process professionally and with dignity and ensure unsuccessful candidates understand how to apply for future vacancies.

Ambassadorial responsibilities – Talent Engagement

  • Collaborating with the Balance Groups (internal networks) to ensure that we are able to effectively and consistently communicate our ambitions surrounding hiring.
  • Working with external groups aligned to our ambitions towards greater diversity.
  • Participating and presenting at recruitment events and engaging directly with candidates at interview and assessment stage.

Project Management

  • Support the Recruitment Business Partner on delivery of strategic HR projects.
  • Supplier Management (recruitment agencies and advertising partners).

Skills & Experience required:

  • Experience in managing multiple projects, to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to influence and manage external and internal stakeholders up to senior management.
  • Customer service, sales, recruitment or resourcing experience would be of interest.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience of working collaboratively within teams and being a proactive contributor.

Personal skills

  • Able to demonstrate diplomatic and influencing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled at working under pressure.
  • Imagination and good visual sense.
  • Strong IT and presenting skills
  • Pro-active, hands-on and a strong sense of self-motivation.
  • Confident and articulate; able to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation and to external audiences.
  • Able to facilitate and manage meetings.
  • Excellent organisational skills, working efficiently alone and as a part of a wider team.
