Internal Communications Officer


Start: ASAP

Length: 6 Months
Location: London (with some flexibility for homeworking)

Rate: £170 PD

Working in tandem with the UK Talent Brand & People Communications team, this role works with their business areas operations lead and Leadership to deliver employee engagement activity on a local level. The candidate will need to be experienced in delivery of large & small scale events, development and delivery of communication materials, have excellent copywriting skills and stakeholder management skills. A key element of the role is working in collaboration with the business to maximise integration of campaign work. Also a need to be highly proactive with a flexible and collaborative work style.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of all community events, parties & smaller tactical events.
  • Development and delivery of webcasts and scripted communications
  • Development and delivery of local email communications within their team
  • Supporting their local publishing teams, Operations Lead, Learning & Development team and Community.
  • Work closely with the Team Leads, Inclusion & Diversity Lead, HR Business Partners, Internal Comms Leads and Human Capital & Diversity team to deliver central strategic objectives, materials, resources and support
  • Identify and execute engagement interventions for the team to address challenges by bringing together an understanding of team-specific engagement data, knowledge of local business priorities and the central strategic and tactical talent agenda
  • Manage senior stakeholders to raise awareness and understanding of the engagement landscape, strategy and their role in any interventions or escalations required Knowledge and skills required
  • Strong communication skills and deep overall business acumen
