What You’ll Be Doing
  • You’ll need to create, develop and implement NHBC’s internal communications strategy
  • Be responsible for planning and delivery of strategic internal communications activity across NHBC, including leadership communications, cultural change and employee engagement activity
  • You will also need to oversee the evolution, production and delivery of regular internal communications products as well as support development of the corporate narrative, values and behaviours, and internal tone of voice, and successfully implement it through strategic internal communication campaigns and change programmes
  • Lead on proactive communications for internal campaigns, projects and activities and act as the gatekeeper for internal communication of NHBC’s internal and external activities
  • Partner with heads of function/senior managers and work with colleagues at all levels of the business to deliver on departmental communications; provide advice and support for individuals as well as be responsive to ad-hoc activity across the business
What We Are Looking For

We want to find a dynamic and proactive individual who is a strategic thinker and can deliver internal campaigns with strong measurable results. You will have the commercial know how to navigate your way around an organisation – building strong relationships with the CEO, HR Director and Head of Marketing and Communications. You will need to have the ability and confidence to challenge them when necessary.
  • Very strong attention to detail always
  • Proven experience of leading an internal communications function
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing internal communications strategies for different audiences, with particular emphasis on field-based staff
  • Hands on experience of supporting a business through change or transformation programmes through effective internal communications
