Interim Year-End Accountant

We have partnered with a household name not-for-profit organisation to recruit for an Interim Year-End Accountant

The successful post holder will provide high quality support to the Finance team using their technical accounting expertise

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory financial reporting for a range of complex entities
• Ensuring that the balance sheet is well managed, reconciliations are completed on a timely basis, and that suspense, control and clearing accounts are regularly monitored
• Managing the external audit process, including being a point of contact with the auditors
• Ensuring accounts are signed off and submitted to Companies House or Charity Commission on time
• Collaborating with other members of the Finance department, including the Finance Business Partnering team, SAP team, Tax and Compliance, and Procurement

Person Specification:

• Fully Qualified Finance Professional (Essential)
• Highly developed analytical skills, able to provide insightful, accurate analysis of complex financial data and communicate clearly to finance and non-finance audiences
• Experience of operating in a large and complex organisation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent system skills and experience using the SAP Finance system (Desirable)

Daily Rate: £400 – 420 PAYE inclusive of Holiday Pay

Contract Type: 6-Month Contract
