Jackson Hogg are excited to support one of the UK’s leading training providers, on their search for a Interim Finance Manager.

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial and business support to the Operational Directors. Alongside helping to drive and improve financial and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business partner to Operational Director.
  • Responsible for overseeing monthly reporting (financial and non-financial)
  • Provide financial support on key business decisions
  • Provide financial and operational support to the wider operational team to ensure high levels of financial consciousness throughout the management team
  • Review monthly management accounts and ensure accurate reporting from Finance Team.
  • Identify areas for cost savings, cost efficiency and revenue improvement
  • Lead budget and forecast process for area of responsibility
  • Strong understanding of funding streams and MIS data
  • Attend all operational meetings and provide clarity on historical and forecast financial performance
  • Ensure high levels of customer service are provided to the business
  • Perform ad hoc pieces of analysis as and when required and as directed by the Director of Skills.

Criteria:

  • Relevant degree with a professional qualification in ACA, ACII, CIMA or CFA
  • Member of ACA, ACII, CIMA or CFA bodies
  • Prior finance analyst experience
  • Experience of budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong presentations skills with the ability to present analysis in an easy to understand format
  • Strong financial controls
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly motivated and ambitious
  • Highly flexible in handling a range of projects
  • The ability to drive change
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Fully qualified or part qualified/finalist in accountancy or financial qualifications

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £37,500.00-£45,000.00 per year
