This interim facilities position which is initially expected to last 4 - 5 months will see you taking ownership of various projects and the day-to-day line management of the team. Our client has just gone from strength to strength over recent years. You’ll be office based on the outskirts of Cambridge and the position will see you supporting various sites, the occasional bit of travel might be required but it’s highly unlikely you’ll find yourself crossing the country on a daily basis! The role will attract an hourly rate of £17.00 - £20.00ph depending on experience and although initially this position.
Our client has various projects running and these, along with ongoing general duties, will form your role. You will be which include:
- A range of improvements and upgrades including roof repairs, furniture and flooring
- Supplier service reviews
- Maintenance scheduling
- Liaising with suppliers: quotations, dates for works to be completed, arranging POs
- Dealing with requests to access the office and notifying Building Management or Security
- Day to day line management of the existing team
