Global entertainment business looking for an Employment Counsel on an interim basis to assist them with the TUPE process as part of an acquisition the business has made. This position is on a fully remote basis and expected the last around 4 months. You must be available to start immediately.

About the Role

The role will include the following daily remit:

  • Advising on a TUPE consultation and integration process as part of an M&A transaction in the UK.
  • Drafting all relevant legal documentation and letters to facilitate the TUPE consultation process.
  • Working with HR, Compensation and Benefits, Payroll and HRIS throughout the TUPE consultation process to ensure a smooth and timely integration.
  • Updating all key stakeholders and the Employment legal team of progress.
  • Implementation of employment and compliance policies for incoming business.
  • Advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters more broadly.

About You

This position requires an employment lawyer with at least 6 years’ PQE (although applications from all levels will be considered on merit). Ideally you will have trained at a well-respected law firm and have gained some in-house experience.

You must be comfortable handling a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious employment law work, and possess the ability to successfully influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
