Interim Administration & Finance Assistant - Near Penzance - £20,000

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been assigned by a prominent commercial services business based on the outskirts of Penzance, who seek to recruit an experienced Administration Assistant to assist them during a particularly busy period. The role is initially offered as a 3-month fixed term contract but is highly likely to convert to a permanent position upon contract completion. The role is full time and works between the hours of 0800-1700 Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities To Include

This a broad and varied assignment that will combine many aspects of the administration, finance and secretarial function. The successful candidate will likely be the first port of call for many callers to the office and excellent telephone, email and general communications skills will be essential. The role will work closely with the Finance Manager and report to the senior management team.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries by telephone, email, and in person
  • Filing
  • Diary upkeep
  • Regularly assisting the Finance Manager
  • Preparing customer invoices
  • Cash handling
  • Assisting senior management team
  • Maintaining stationary orders and supplies
  • Ad-hoc duties as required
We’re seeking a confident, organised individual with strong IT aptitude and a real problem-solving attitude to their work.
