Why we’re hiring:
WPP is on a global transformation journey and this is an opportunity to join the Finance HQ team. Due to internal promotion we are looking for an Intercompany Accountant to join us.

What you’ll be doing:
This role will report into the Financial Controller and Finance Manager.

Full responsibility over ICS, uploads and clearing mismatches each month

ICS reporting at month end (NICORU/NICSATDET)

Maintaining Cartesis codes on customers/vendors and resolve any changes prior to publishing deadlines

Intercompany billings to other WPP operating companies (opcos) globally and reconciliation of costs and recharges

External billings when required

HSBC GBP bank postings for interco payments

Reviewed aged customer reports and chasing outstanding debts. This includes engaging directly with opcos globally and maintaining ongoing conversations

Various monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Monthly Sub ledger reconciliations

Maintaining fixed assets register and monthly reconciliations

What you’ll need:
Previous experience of intercompany processes would be an advantage

Experience of AX Dynamics and BFC Cartesis is preferred but not essential

A self-starter who can get on with the job without close supervision

Tenacity in resolving customer billing issues and debt collection

Ability to organize workload and priorities against deadlines
