An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Mid Argyll , Kintyre and Islay locality for an enthusiastic, flexible registered midwife , who wishes the opportunity to utilise their full range of skills in a mixed rural and town environment. The candidate must be confident to work autonomously in providing care to families in Mid Argyll in a range of environments, they must also work well as a member of a team. The candidate will be able to provide a full range of evidence based, health education and social care advice in keeping with current drivers.

The service is proactive in supporting local services, whether at home or within the maternity unit, any applicant should be keen to promote this. A Newly Qualified practitioner could be considered for this post at band 5 until Flying Start completed.

There is an on-call commitment with this post and a full driving license is essential. The base for the post will be in Lochgilphead/ Mid Argyll Area.
