What will the apprentice be doing?
- Training for technical licences.
- Learning about the NFU approach to insurance - what seperates us from the normal insurers.
- Understanding the internal business processess for managing policholders.
- Strategies for generating new business.
- Database management.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Insurance practitioner Level 3 with assistance from the apprentice scheme training partner.
- Recognised NFU licences within the national NFU framework.
- Training in the office in Bourne regularly through the week. Remote training with the apprentice scheme partner - this can be done in the office or at home. It is not block release.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- During the year of apprenticeship the insurance paractitioner level 3 will be acheived along with some NFU internal licences.
- After year one further NFU licences will be attained and as certain licences are achieved then salary banding will increase.
- Ability to move towards more focussed sales roles if desired, office based and field based and at differernt levels.
- Longer term, potentially assistant partner level.
