We’re Abri, a housing association based in the south of England. One of the largest in fact. We’ve got 35,000 homes and 1,500 colleagues. And if all our 80,000 residents lived in the same place, we’d have a town roughly the size of Guildford.

Your new role

We’re excited to be looking for a new Insurance Officer to join our Risk and Assurance team and we need you!

You’ll support the Head of Risk & Assurance in managing the Group’s insurance programme, including purchase and renewal, and maintaining oversight of claims management and performance.

We don’t just want to do things the way they’ve always been done, we want do things even better! Enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, and excellent organisational and communication skills will be essential as you’ll take ownership of:

• The annual insurance programme renewal (property, liability, and commercial motor)
• Tender exercises
• Oversight of claims handling across the business
• Claims analysis and reporting and
• Insurance training and awareness.

You’ll be an insurance subject matter expert and have the confidence and assertiveness to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
