Bens My Client is a rapidly growing business bringing digital technology to the global insurance marketplace. Their technology is deployed in some of the worlds leading insurers globally including UK, USA Europe, etc providing clients with enhanced customer service and productivity. My client is planning substantial expansion over the months and years. They seek an experienced Contracts Manager to join their Engineering team. The Contracts Manager will conduct pre-contract meetings with contractors and policyholders to ensure all arrangements are in place for the duration of the works, whilst ensuring H&S and CDM obligations are met by all parties. When not working from site the role will be home-based. Managing the repair phase from preparing of the repair schedule, where required, through to completion of repairs, including all snagging aspects. Inspection (via desktop where possible) and validation of variations, ensuring these are suitably managed. Undertake any necessary site visits, where required, in order to ensure claims are proactively progressed through to completion. Resolving customer complaints arising during the repair phase. Work closely with the Contractor Network Manager in all repair / contractor related aspects. Undertake health and safety site checks and contractor audits, and development of contractor audit process. Maintain excellent and proactive communication with all claim parties, including customers, clients, suppliers and colleagues. Being a team player is vital to this role. Striving towards continually reducing claim cycle times through effective management of repair phase working closely with the engineering and claims teams. Identify improvements to process and system through normal day to day role, supporting the implementation of changes to further enhance technical claims management delivery and customer / client experience. You will need: Having worked within insurance, preferably subsidence. For example but not exclusively, working for a subsidence claims network contractor, as a contracts manager / surveyor. Attained or working towards HNC / HND / Technical Degree (e.g. construction technology, building, surveying), or similar. Attained or working towards NEBOSH General Certificate in Construction. Over 10 years experience in a similar position. Excellent knowledge and experience of construction technology, with particular relevance to residential property. A solid knowledge of health and safety aspects. High level of written and verbal communication in English required, to provide effective communication. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly word and excel) Circa £38 k - £ 50 k
