ADECCOare currently recruiting for an Insurance Broker / Underwriter for our client based in Cardiff.

£22.5k - £25k

Mon-Fri 9-5

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual, who is looking for a long-term career in the Insurance industry, to join a well-established company that is experiencing a period of sustained growth.

The successful candidate will provide quotations for New Business opportunities and Renewals for existing clients.

The Role:

  • Prepare quotations and offer suitable products

  • Answer calls and emails promptly & efficiently

  • Observe compliance and follow working procedures

  • Complete training and keep up-to-date with industry changes/trends

  • Offer renewal terms and wherever possible alternative renewal quotations

  • Liaise directly with insurers

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong communication, negotiation and customer service skills

  • Eager to learn, motivated, and able to work on own initiative

  • Some experience working within insurance, particularly broking or underwriting environment, preferred

  • Good level of education

  • Cert CII qualification an advantage
