We are working with our client who are a long established insurance broker dealing with Commercial and Corporate clients of all shapes and sizes. They deal with all the major Insurers and Underwriting Agencies.

Whilst an obvious cliché they do the job because they care. They care about getting it right and getting the right policy with the right cover at the right premium and, in the event of a claim to obtain full settlement to which the client is entitled.

The exciting role includes:

As an Apprentice Insurance Broker you will be based at their beautiful rural offices in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside. The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative support whilst gaining a recognised and established career foundation and qualification.

This is your chance to become a professional, qualified Insurance Broker in just 12-18 months.

There is a huge variety in the role whereby you will be able to interact with both customers and insurers alike to build relationships and assist with administrative duties from the start.

Whilst you will need to be self motivated with an aptitude and eagerness for on the job training the training program itself is a combination of face to face, virtual and exam based courses/workshops delivered by Wiser Academy combined with the invaluable on-the-job experience seeing just what an Insurance Broker does. At the end of it you will achieve a Level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification along with your Certificate in Insurance accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

As our Apprentice Insurance Broker you will be the type of person who is keen to develop a career within Insurance. You will also have or want to work towards:

• Great customer service and communication skills
• Excellent telephone manner being able to build working relationship easily
• Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance and Sales
• Good attention to detail and be able to multi-task updating relevant systems and admin

About you:

• You’ll have a minimum of grades A - C in English and Mathematics GCSE’s (or equivalent)
• Be willing to learn and develop and invest the time in developing yourself

Salary: £14,000.00-£18,000.00 per year
