Salary: MC Teaching Support salary scale 5/6, pt 20 – 25,

From £22,814 - £27,429 per annum

Contract:MC Teaching Support, Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Annual Leave:30 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays

About the College

  • Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008. It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.

            About the role

            We currently have an opening for an Instructor Demonstrator Assessor – Welding

            To instruct, train, demonstrate and assess students on competence based/skills-based learning programmes devised.

            The successful candidate will:

            • To hold a Welding or fabrication based NVQ qualification at a minimum Level 3.
            • To be a qualified teacher or must be prepared to commence an appropriate teaching qualification on appointment to the post.
            • Current and relevant industrial experience or time served apprentice in a Welding Engineering sector.
            • Up to date subject knowledge.
