Candidate - Experienced industry professional, with hands on experience installing, technically advising, specifying, quoting and/or designing heating and plumbing systems ideally renewables such as air source heat pumps or ground source heat pumps.

The Position

This is a brand-new Installer Sales Manager position that has been created due to unprecedented growth working for one of the largest renewable energy systems providers in the UK. As the Installer Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading installations of heat pumps and other renewable heating systems for residential housing projects both new build housing developments through housebuilders and social housing schemes new build or retro fit, through local authorities and housing associations. Your primary clients will be installers, contractors and the heating wholesalers that are supplying them.

Experience Required

Due to the nature of the role you must have extensive experience in plumbing and heating either install, service and/or design of domestic or commercial unvented hot water systems incorporating heat pumps - either Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP’s) or Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP’s) or other renewable technologies such as solar PV, heat recovery, and underfloor heating. Furthermore, recognised industry training and further education qualifications such as City & Guilds plumbing and heating, BPEC, unvented hot water systems, gas, boiler training, heat pumps training are an advantage but not as essential as hands on installation experience and product knowledge.

Their Installer Sales Manager’s are essential to ensuring that projects are run smoothly, existing installer and contractor partners are supported and new partners are are qualified effectively with the appropriate manufacturer training given. Furthermore, they represent the company regionally to the branches of large national wholesale stockists.
