JOB TITLE Installations Project Manager
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Commercial
JOB LOCATION: Daventry, UK
BRANCH: Biesse UK

Base Salary: £45.000
REPORTS TO: Technical Support Manager
KEY PURPOSE FOR THE JOB/JOB SUMMARY:
The role will be responsible for the delivering world class customer experience on new Biesse (Wood, Glass, Stone, Materia) machine installation, coordinating logistic aspects, setting customer expectations and planning resources capacity.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Machine Sales Admin
Liaising with sales department for planning the resources for installation.
Organizing site surveys and liaising with customers to ensure that services are available prior the installation.
Organizing installation for UK engineers and liaising with HQ for Italian installations.
Ensure every installation is dealt with as a project (cradle to grave)
Site visit during project – H&S and Quality check
Ensure that the machine is being signed off correctly.
Snag list created and issues addressed and resolved promptly.
or surpassed, allowing for the necessary corrective actions to be taken when required.
Optimizing resource utilization.
Liaising with contractors for mechanical installation
Post project review with Customer Service team – Lessons learnt.
Review project cost and budget with Service Director
Develop Training plan for Biesse and external teams.
Ensure that Customer Satisfaction is achieved thanks to Field Service Intervention quality.
Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures, suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency, and service to customers.
The role may require visit customer site.
PERSON SPECIFICATION (Skills, Experience, Qualifications & Attributes)
Essential
Highly organized with an attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
Strong customer service and interpersonal skill
IT capabilities and technically oriented (a degree is not required although it would be a plus)
Excellent at building trust, confidence and relationship with customers and the team
Important is interaction with engineer/on site operators/workers, please show records of similar experiences
Desirable
Qualification in project management discipline (e.g., Prince2, PMP) or willingness to obtain a qualification.
Minimum five years’ experience in a project management role
Use of Gantt and planning software (e.g., Microsoft project)
Specific experience in installing on site or repairing industrial equipment is a plus.
