Job content
We are looking for a cabler prover to join our Northampton, and surrounding areas, cabling teams.
This role involves assisting a subducting gang to pull in "12way" subduct, followed by fitting a wrap around gel filled closures (‘gel wraps’) to efficiently connect blown fibre tubes.
You will also be required to prove the integrity off various subducts using calibration darts and an air compressor, followed by dressing street side cabinets to an agreed specification.
- DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED
- Streetworks / CSCS advantageous.
- BT Network training will be given in due course.
- Van and tools are supplied.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
