Working as an Insight Commercial Specialist, there will be three main areas of responsibility for your role:

  • Provide administrative support to our commercial team
  • Work closely with our marketing team to ensure that a steady stream of compelling content is being created to aid our commercial efforts
  • Source and prepare relevant content from other sources to arm our commercial team with

We are also interested in speaking with candidates who have experience and talent when it comes to sales. You don’t have to be an experienced sales professional but as you will be supporting the commercial team it will be important that you understand what sales people need to help present Geeks to clients and win new and exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

This is a dynamic role with a diverse set of responsibilities, including the following:

  • You will report directly to the Commercial Operations Manager and work closely with our Commercial Director and CEO. Occasionally you would work with other members of the Commercial and Senior Leadership teams
  • Providing support to the Commercial Director and the Senior Leadership Team particularly with commercial activities
  • Arranging client facing sales meetings and calls
  • Documenting minutes for sales meetings and ensuring the CRM is up to date
  • Escalating any anomaly in the CRM to the Commercial Ops Manager
  • Validating the Commercial scorecard and verifying numbers
  • Reporting on the volume of sales meetings to the Commercial Operations Manager
  • Upon conversion of any prospects to opportunities to clients, providing relevant stakeholders in the business with detailed handovers
  • Working with our commercial team and marketing team to ensure that there is clarity about what types of content that we need to help us engage with our clients
  • Continuing to liaise with both teams to ensure that the agreed content is created and being used in a timely manner
  • Being on the constant look out for new information and content from a range of sources that can help the commercial team and rest of Geeks in their client interactions

Required qualifications:

Degree Educated:

You need to ideally have a degree in business
